COMMENTS:  translucent, heat treated high quality coral. Tip has uneven  dip which is result of the rind edge, not broken, not damaged.  Very thin. One of the prettiest coral pieces from the Lake Padgett site.  If you like red coral, this is the ultimate.  If you have ever looked at blood under a microscope, this is absolutely the color.  These guys were heat treating their coral to the max, and they stopped just short of blowing up the blanks.

COMMENTS:  translucent, heat treated high quality coral.  Beautiful porcelain  white coral. Very thin. It is unbelievable that the knapper chipped around this hole without breaking through the edge.  Superb little batwing from Lake Padgett.
